750 Motor Club heads to Rockingham for maiden visit

NEW for this season, the 750 Motor Club has added Rockingham to their 2013 race calendar and will be heading to the Northamptonshire circuit for their first ever championship visit next month (July).Providing two days of fantastic racing over the weekend of July 13/14, the 750 Motor Club race meeting features 20 races offering an eclectic mix of cars from hatchbacks and BMWs to single seaters and custom built machines.With the ticket for a tenner promotion available for all Rockingham club race meetings and the promise of bustling grids, spectators are sure to be entertained at a price they can afford. Adult tickets cost just 10 in advance while its free admission for children aged 16 and under.

Featuring a number of Northamptonshire-based drivers and Rockinghams Finance Director Andrew Lake in the 750 Formula, there will be plenty of new faces for the home crowd to get behind and show their support.Other names to look out for are, Charles Briggs from Wellingborough, who races in the Stock Hatch formula in his Peugeot 205 GTi, reigning Class B Champion in the Sports Specials formula David Caldecott and Luke Austin in the MR2s, both from Northampton.All the action takes place on the International Super Sportscar Long Circuit, with 10 different championships battling it out, including Toyota MR2, Formula Vee, Bikesports, Sport Specials, Aero Racing Morgan Challenge, Demon Tweeks/Yokohama Classic Stock Hatch, Premier Choice Group 750 Formula, Gaz Shocks Compact Cup, 750 SSC and 750 Trophy.

All tickets include a free grandstand seat with a unique panoramic view of the entire circuit and access to the race paddock, allowing an exclusive insight into the hard work which goes on behind the scenes to keep the drivers and cars on track.Rockingham prides itself on providing access to all motorsport fans, and for those who are registered disabled can apply for a FREE admission ticket for their carer. Adult tickets will also be available on the day priced at 15 on both days, while children aged 16 and under get in free. Gates open at 08:00/09:00 on Saturday/Sunday, with track activity starting 09:00/10:00 respectively.
