21-year old Luke Williams returns to the BRDC Formula 4 Championship for rounds 10, 11 and 12 at Oulton Park this Saturday with Chris Dittmann Racing.
Williams, from Thirsk in Yorkshire, raced with the team at the DTM-supporting round in May, scoring 12 points.
Hes expecting more from this weekend though, and has targeted a top-three finish in Cheshire having won in Formula Ford at the venue in 2012.
Im very excited to be racing again and Im really looking forward to getting out at Oulton Park Williams enthused. Ive always liked the circuit; it was the first track I drove on when moving up to cars and I find I perform well there whether its wet or dry. I had a great win in the wet at Oulton Park in Formula Ford last year and I think I can aim for the podium this weekend.
Its great to have Luke back in the car said team principal Chris Dittmann. When he raced with us at Brands Hatch he had really encouraging pace and was only denied a really strong result by a bit of bad luck. The team did a great job at Brands Hatch and were aiming for the podium at Oulton Park. In the short amount of time Luke has had in the car he has shown really encouraging pace and a podium is definitely possible.
