Daniel Lloyd will make his second consecutive appearance at the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed next week, between 11th and 14th July, as an official representative of Porsche Cars GB and as an active participant in the competitive Hillclimb at Lord Marchs West Sussex estate.
As the greatest motorsport festival in the world, the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed is a major global attraction and is second only to the FIA Formula One World Championships British Grand Prix in terms of spectator attendance at a UK motor racing event, with 150,000 people visiting each year.
In his role as the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholarthe first driver in the history of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship to be awarded the accolade and accompanying bursary for two years in successionthe 21-year-old from Huddersfield will again be busy promoting the Porsche brand.
Making a huge impression on his Goodwood debut in 2012, Daniel was a star performer in the timed 1.16-mile Hillclimb and ended the final Shoot-Out part of the contest an excellent sixth fastest at the wheel of his Porsche 911 GT3 race car.
Im absolutely buzzing about being invited back to Goodwood by Porsche, said Daniel, Its such an amazing event, theres nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Im really looking forward to just being there, as well as meeting as many people as possible and having another crack at the hillclimb.
