Brendon Hartley (NZL) Practice yesterday went really well. Both Jonathan and I had good runs. We had a few little issues which we sorted for today. In qualifying, we were P1 for the majority of the session. We did three laps, as we have to start the race on the same tyres we qualified on, its vital to do the best possible time is as few laps as possible. I think I made a really good call to come in. We stayed at P1 for the majority of qualifying, and two guys, Panciatici in the Alpine, and Turvey in the Jota car, passed us in the last four or five minutes. Its a shame to drop to third, but P1 and P2 have done more than double the laps on their tyres going into the race. Jonathan will start the race for Murphy Prototypes, and we have given him a good chance on fresher tyres than the rest. We looking in really good shape, and I am really happy with the job we did straight out of the box." Jonathan Hirschi (CH) Brendon did a really good job in qualifying with only a few laps and hes the first Oreca with the Dunlop tyres so its looking very good for the race, I think we can feature strongly. I will start the race, Im very happy to do that. Of course its not easy but I will try my best, we will see. Greg Murphy Team Principal (IRL) Were very happy, we had a good run, P1 for much of the session but we were always mindful that weve got a race to do and we didnt want to take the best out of the tyres, so we came in early and then two cars went quicker. But were not that worried to be honest, were happy with that and I think well be strong today.
