Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS title holder Daniil Kvyat gets to drive the STR8

The 19 y/o Russian driver who claimed the 2012 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS title  joined  F1 collective testing with Toro Rosso  in Silverstone last week.Kvyat drove the STR8 on Friday 19th July afternoon, lapping overall 22 times and setting his best at 135.281. Definitely not bad considering it was his first ever experience behind a F1 wheel.It definitely was a fantastic experience for the young Russian, and a great reward for his F.Renault 2.0 ALPS achievement.  He took seven overall wins and four poles, claiming the title at the very last round in Barcelona after an exciting duel with the Frenchmen Norman Nato, who was second overall just three points behind the winner,.is with Koiranen Motorsport team - and for this year progress in GP3Kvyat, who is part of the Red Bull Junior programme, is with Koiranen Motorsport for 2013 in GP3
