Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS not on holiday but by the sea in Misano

5th SERIES ROUND IN MISANO

A weekend at the seaside, but not yet holiday time. In Misano, on the upcoming weekend (27th and 28th July), Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS will be at its fifth out of seven Season double venues. 

Antonio Fuoco is the undisputed ruler; behind him Bruno Bonifacio and Luca Ghiotto. A perfect trio for Team Prema who will also line-up a fourth car for the rookie Matthew Barry Solomon, 17ys old from Hong Kong, at his very first race in Europe. Back in the Series in Misano is the young Andrea Baiguera (Brixia Horse Power) who joins atop quality line up with 13 different teams on track.Among these will be Italianteam BVM Racing (lining up Dario Capitanio and the young Indian Parth Ghorpade) and Euronova Racing (a team located close to Forl and thus on their home track) with three drivers Javier Amado, Gregor Ramsay and Ukyo Sasahara.Friday free practice sessions will open the weekend.

Three different sessions with green lights at 9.30, 13.10 and 16.30.

On Saturday, starting from 9.35, the qualifying session as usual held with all competitors split into two groups.

Race 1 start is set for 17.35.

Race 2 is set as usual on Sunday. At 13.50 the green light with the grid arranged with the second fastest qualifying lap times. Both races, and qualifying will be broadcasted live on the web at www.renaultsportitalia.it, where  live-timing will also be available.
