After a double dose of long-distance racing last weekend Motors TV is going one better this time around as we present live coverage of a bona fide endurance classic.
The 24 Hours of Spa represents the Blancpain Endurance Series blue riband event and will see an enormous grid of GT cars tackle the world-famous Belgian circuit. With factory-backed entries from the likes of Audi, Aston Martin, BMW and Ferrari, as well as a driver line-up that includes Bruno Senna, Andre Lotterer and Olivier Panis, the race is rightly regarded as one of the biggest of the yearand its live on Motors TV. Whats more, weve also got live support series action from British F3 to complete a stellar weekend in the Ardennes.
Switching from one iconic venue to another, Motors TV will be at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday for a double bill of American motorsport. Grand-Am's Brickyard Grand Prix gets the action underway with a host of star drivers making one-off appearances at the race, including reigning Indy 500 champ Tony Kanaan and F1 legend Rubens Barrichello.
Then it's the NASCAR Nationwide Series' turn as it contests the Indiana 250. The stock-car championship can boast an Indianapolis expert of its own, with 2006 Indy 500 winner Sam Hornish Jr. leading the points battle ahead of the Brickyard contest.
On Sunday we're heading off-road for round 14 of the FIM MX World Championship. Held at EuroSpeedway Lausitzring, the German Grand Prix is sure to attract a bumper crowd thanks to MX1 star Max Nagl and the national team's status as reigning MX of Nations champions.
We've also got highlights of the popular Maserati Trophy at British Grand Prix venue Silverstone, delayed-as-live Italian Superbike action from Imola and Ginetta UK Championship coverage on a packed weekend of high-speed television.
