BARWA ADDAX, Rio Haryanto and Jake Rosenzweig ready for Hungaroring GP2

This weekend the GP2 Series continues the European stage of the championship at the Hungaroring circuit, at the seventh of the eleven events that make up the 2013 season. Having passed the halfway point of this years campaign the Spanish team has complete faith in its drivers, Rio Haryanto and Jake Rosenzweig hopeful that they will get a good result at the Hungarian track.

Although it has never been their best circuit, Barwa Addax Team, have always managed to pick up good results here, such as the second placed finish of Charles Pic in 2011, well backed up by Giedo van der Garde who finished fourth in both races. Sergio Prez also made the podium after finishing third in  2010, with mister consistency van der Garde 5th and 4th that same weekend. Of course we cannot forget  Lucas di Grassis great victory in 2008.

The Hungarian Grand Prix and particularly the circuit has the characteristic of being a slow and winding track. The fact that the race takes place in July when the temperatures are usually high making it a very demanding test for both driver and tyres. This time round, Pirelli has chosen the same tyre compounds for the GP2 Series, as the ones that will be used in formula 1. P zero white medium and P zero yellow soft. The main objective will be getting the tyre and race strategy right on a circuit that is notoriously difficult to overtake on.

Jake Rosenzweig, is here in Hungary with the illusion of a rookie and with the motivation to demonstrate the progress he and the team have made since the last Grand Prix in Germany. He is looking for the kind of result that he has come close to more than once this season. All the hard work and his professionalism deserve something more. If his luck improves it will be just a question of time.

Rio Haryanto, is looking for a result similar to that of Silverstone and hopes to put Nurburgring behind him. Last season he had a good weekend at this track, finishing the two races in twelfth and seventh position which meant picking up two points for the championship. This time he is hoping to improve on last years results with the clear idea of being up there in the leading group of drivers fighting it out for the victory.

Rio Haryanto, official Barwa Addax Team driver: "It's gonna be a hot race in Budapest this week, I'm hoping that we have a good car this weekend and so we could get some good results."

The timetable this weekend in Hungary will be as in most other European events, local time GMT +2. Free practice: Friday 26th at 12.00 hrs. Qualifying session: 15.55 hrs. 1st  race: Saturday, 15.40 hrs and the 2nd race: Sunday 28th at 10.35 hrs.
