Shell Advance renews Malaysian MotoGP deal

Shell Advance has announced it will return as the title sponsor of the Malaysian round of the MotoGP world championship after renewing its deal with series organiser, Dorna.The new deal will run for two years and provide Shell Advance with a platform for pan-Asian promotion. This year's race, at the Sepang International Circuit near Kuala Lumpur, is scheduled for Sunday 13th October."The company has long since supported MotoGP in the Asian region and Malaysia in particular and the agreement between Shell Advance and Dorna has always proved to be a total success," said Pau Serracanta, the managing director of Dorna's commercial division."Shell Advance will also be sponsoring the new Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup which is to launch in 2014 - further proof of the strength of the partnership with MotoGP. The new series, designed to assist young Asian motorcyclists, will be based at Sepang. Shell Advance extend Malaysian MotoGP dealAndrew Hepher, the general manager of marketing consumer brands and products at Shell International, said of the Malaysian event: "Its one of the most exciting events on the calendar and we are very proud to extend this deal in a region that is very important for Shell."Shell Advance first became title sponsor of the Malaysian race in 2009.
