MSA British Car Trial Championship

Round 8: Gerry P Evans Cymru Car Trial, 20 July

Roger Holder took his maiden win at the Cymru trial, while Duncan Stephens sealed his second championship title in four years with two rounds to spare.

Bill Moffatt won his class after a very clean drive to take the MSA shield for highest championship contender, in second overall. Stephens was second in classenough to secure the crown.

Round 9: HCC Wales Car Trial, 21 July

Les Andrew drove impeccably to win the HCC Wales trial by a clear margin.

Kevin Roberts took his customary class win and second overall, with Barrie Parker third. David Allman won the new car class, and Dave Oliver took third in the class after swapping his broken Hillman Imp for a Peugeot 205.
