MSA British Endurance Championship

Round 4: Brands Hatch, 28 July

The works Team LNT Ginetta  G55 of Lawrence Tomlinson and Mike Simpson took victory in a three-hour race at Brands Hatch that went down to the wire, as the Invitation entries took late fuel stops.

BTCC star Tom Onslow-Cole assisted Paul White and John Gaw to second place in the Strata21 Aston Martin. Meanwhile regular championship contenders Javier Morcilo/Manuel Cintrano in their Mosler took fourth and the top points after erstwhile leaders Bailey/Schulz were halted by wishbone failure minutes from the end.

The Audi R8 of Anthony Mott/Peter Cook stunned with its economy, taking Class 2 honours, while Class 3 victors Tom and James Webb had to fight hard for their win in the BMW GTR.
