Saturday sees the Elkhart Lake circuit welcome the Grand-Am series, which is contesting its ninth round of the campaign. The title fight is heating up, with Starworks duo Ryan Dalziel and Alex Popow leading the way after their win last time out at Indianapolis. Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney are only ten points behind, while Max Angelelli and Jordan Taylor are also within striking distance.On Sunday it is the turn of the American Le Mans Series to take on Road America. Pickett Racing's Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr are on a four-race winning streak in P1 but the GT battle is as fierce as ever, with the Viper showing its increasing competitiveness at the previous round at Mosport with a maiden pole position.Theres also live action from another famous American circuit, Watkins Glen, the venue for the second road course event on the NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule. With 20 of the 33 rounds completed the championship remains very close, as only 19 points cover leader Austin Dillon and the chasing trio of Regan Smith, Sam Hornish Jr and Elliott Sadler.Staying in the United States, theres coverage from round six of AMA Superbike and AMA Sportbike, as the nation's top two tiers of motorcycle racing compete at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. Josh Hayes is eyeing a fourth consecutive Superbike title and scored maximum points at Laguna Seca, but only holds a narrow lead over team-mate Josh Herrin in the standings. Further bike action comes from the FIM World Sidecar Championship at Assen in the Netherlands and the FIM Endurance World Championship 's Suzuka 8 Hours.
