6 Podiums for Forcefield Riders

The Forcefield supported riders had another good weekend at the MCE British Superbike race at Oulton Park at the weekend. The British weather was reasonably kind to the riders with only a brief rain shower on Friday morning.

British Supersport Cup leader Jake Dixon really put the Forcefield Body Armour through its paces during the qualifying session on Friday morning. Crashing heavily at Brittens Chicane he suffered no major injuries except a broken scaphoid.

Jake Dixon - "I was struggling a little bit at Oulton at the weekend but things were feeling much better during qualifying. I had a huge high side and landed on my back and leg and initially thought I had done something serious. The medical team and staff were brilliant track side and in the medical centre and gave me a thorough check over, sadly I broke my right scaphoid and they put me in a cast in there. I'd like to thank Forcefield for the kit they have provided to me and it certainly did the job again here, I'd also like to thank all the marshals and the medics for doing such a great and fast job at the track."

The rest of the riders escaped the weekend without any crashes but secured some very good results in the process. Tristan Palmer moved back into the Superstock 1000 class mid season and since he return he has gained three podiums from four races including a stunning race win this weekend at Oulton Park. Adam Jenkinson finished in second and now holds an eight point lead in the Championship standings. In the National Superstock 600 class Forcefield rider Luke Hedger took another fantastic win and is closing in on the Championship leader. In the British Supersport Cup Championship Bjorn Estment gained a great third place in race one and win on race two.

Tristan Palmer - "Thankfully I didn't have to test out the Forcefield kit this weekend but as always it was really comfortable you don't know you're wearing it and I was able to take another win in the Superstock class."

Bjorn Estment - "I managed to get a win in the Supersport Cup on Sunday and third on Saturday due to a problem with my bike. The kit as always was perfect all weekend."

Luke Hedger - "The Forcefield kit is amazing; it fits really well with my leathers and melts to your back as it gets warm, clever stuff! It was another great weekend for us and we were able to secure another win."
