Chevron Cars joins forces with Mission Motorsport at Silverstone

Trio of Chevrons competing in GT Cup, 17 -18 AugustAt the start of 2013, Chevron Cars Ltd introduced Mission Motorsport to the GT Cup Championship with the aim of building awareness for the charity through the sport.Since the opening race weekend in April, Mission Motorsport branding has appeared on all entrants cars at each round of the GT Cup, and it will continue to do so at Silverstone, Snetterton and then Donington which will be the season finale.Along with three Chevron GTs gracing the grid at Silverstone (17-18 August)driven by Jordan Witt, David Witt and Darren NelsonChevron Cars will also have two service personnel as beneficiaries of Mission Motorsport supporting the Crewe based outfit throughout the weekend in the works team garage.David Witt, owner of Chevron Cars Limited, commented: As a team, we are looking forward to not only returning to Silverstone to race but also to ramping up the amount of involvement Chevron has with Mission Motorsport. In our garage, both Dean Williams and Dean Morris will be with us, shadowing our mechanics responsible for overseeing the GT3 and GT4, which Jordan and I will be driving respectively.Darren [Nelson] will also be in his Chevron GT4 and after a double podium at Oulton Park, Im sure well have some healthy competition between all the Chevron contenders!Former Army Major, Adam Marchant-Wincott, Relationship Manager at Mission Motorsport, said: Its a wonderful opportunity that Chevron is offering Mission Motorsport in relation to the GT Cup series.
