LIVE V8 SupercarsBathurst is the highlight of the V8 Supercars calendar and Motors TV will show the 1,000-kilometre race live in its entirety. This year, the usual war between Holden and Ford is joined by the new entries from Nissan and Mercedes, making for the most competitive grid in decades.It is Holden who have won around the Mount Panorama circuit for the last four years and Jamie Whincup will be targeting a repeat of his 2012 triumph together with co-driver Paul Dumbrell. They will have plenty of competition however, with a total of 12 previous Bathurst winners set to take part. The two races from the final instalment of V8 Supercars’ endurance season at Surfers Paradise a fortnight later will be shown delayed-as-live.- Round 11, Bathurst: Saturday 12 October at 22:30.- Round 12, Surfers Paradise: Saturday 26 October and Sunday 27 October at 13:00.LIVE American Le Mans SeriesThe American Le Mans Series season concludes with the prestigious Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta. Rebellion Racing will return to ALMS action to defend the crown that they won last year, offering some opposition to the Pickett Racing squad that has dominated the P1 category this season.The other classes have been closely fought all year, and the title battles could come right down to the wire at the Braselton venue. Before that, Motors TV will have delayed-as-live coverage of the penultimate round of the campaign in Virginia.- Round 9, Virginia: Sunday 6 October at 18:00.- Round 10, Petit Le Mans: Saturday 19 October at 16:30.

LIVE FIA World Endurance ChampionshipShortly after the chequered flag falls at Road Atlanta, round seven of the FIA World Endurance Championship will get underway at Fuji Speedway in Japan. Last year Toyota claimed the honours on home soil and are expected to run both of their TS030 Hybrid machines this time, maximising their chances in the fight against Audi. Meanwhile, the LMP2 and GTE classes can always be relied on to provide exciting battles.- Round 6, Fuji: Sunday 20 October at 02:30.

LIVE NASCAR Nationwide SeriesOctober is a relatively quiet month for the NASCAR Nationwide Series with only two races on the schedule, but things are getting serious as the season moves towards its climax. Motors TV has live coverage of the Kansas round, while the Charlotte night race will be aired delayed-as-live.- Round 29, Kansas: Saturday 5 October at 20:00.- Round 30, Charlotte: Saturday 12 October at 20:00.LIVE FIA Formula 3 European ChampionshipOctober sees the FIA Formula 3 European Championship season come to a close with rounds at Vallelunga and Hockenheim on successive weekends. The Italian circuit is expected to favour the Prema team and their lead driver Raffaele Marciello, while the Ferrari protégé already claimed a brace of victories at Hockenheim when the series visited in May. It is up to Mucke’s Felix Rosenqvist to deny him the title.- Round 9, Vallelunga: Saturday 12 October at 10:05 & 14:50 and Sunday 13 October at 09:50.- Round 10, Hockenheim: Saturday 19 October at 10:05 & 14:50 and Sunday 20 October at 10:00.LIVE FIA GT SeriesThe FIA GT Series campaign ends with an event on the streets of Baku. The capital of Azerbaijan isn’t a complete stranger to international GT racing, having hosted the one-off ‘City Challenge’ last year. The Pro Cup title fight is boiling down to a tussle between the WRT Audis and HTP Gravity Charouz Mercedes, while Sebastien Loeb will be trying to go out on a high before he switches his focus to touring cars.- Qualifying Race: Saturday 19 October at 12:00.- Championship Race: Sunday 20 October at 10:55.LIVE Superstars International SeriesSharing the bill with F3 at Vallelunga is the final round of the Superstars International Series. Mercedes duo Thomas Biagi and Vitantonio Liuzzi and Audi’s Gianni Morbidelli are the championship’s star names and have been the leading contenders in this year’s title race so far.
