Joe Collier Cadwell Park review

Joe Collier racing on the Haribo Starmix Triumph was unfortunate to crash out of the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship at Cadwell Park this weekend. The youngster was looking strong and set for a podium from the start of the weekend and qualified in a comfortable fifth place on the grid for the 12-lap race. He was running in a strong third place when he crashed out at Charlies.Joe Collier - "I'm really disappointed to have crashed out today as I was doing well in the Championship standings and now I have dropped back to fourth place. I had been having a good weekend and my lap times were good and I felt confident going into the race.Qualifying went well and we found a really good set up on the Triumph and I was keen to get another good result. I managed to get a good start and wanted to stay with the front runners, I was sitting in third and making progress to catch up second placed man James Lodge. However, I ran in a bit hot to Charlies and down I went, I'm ok just really disappointed and frustrated that I wasn't able to gain some solid Championship points.Onwards to Donington now, it's my local circuit and we have a set up from when we went their in May so hopefully we can be back on the podium again there."
