Round 6: Eventsigns Mewla Rally, 25 August

Peter Lloyd won the Eventsigns Mewla Rally in his Subaru Impreza WRC after leading the Epynt Ranges-based event from start to finish.

Behind Lloyd there raged a fierce battle for the remaining podium places. As the cars returned to the finish in Builth Wells, John Indri was confirmed as runner-up in his Darrian T90 GTR while, following a number of retirements and other problems suffered by leading contenders, Eian Pritchard had moved up to third.

Championship leader prior to the start of the event, Damian Cole was running in second place for much of the day but retired on the penultimate stage, while Steve Simpson and co-driver Patrick Walsh suffered a detatched turbo pipe but managed to finish and regain the championship lead.
