SWR, Most Successful Team In Formula 4 Relishing Snetterton Return

After achieving its fourth race victory of the BRDC Formula 4 Championship season a fortnight ago, leading team SWR is aiming to continue its fantastic winning momentum when the penultimate event of the 2013 campaign takes place at Snetterton in Norfolk next weekend, 7th/8th September.Matty Grahams second win of the year last time out at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, added to Jack Barlows brace of successes from earlier in the season, helped to make Oxfordshires SWR the most successful team in F4 so far in terms of race victories.Determined to add more wins at Snettertons 300 Circuit a week from now, and with Barlow and Graham third and fourth in the driver standings respectively, the Sean Walkinshaw-owned team is feeling justly confident going into rounds 19, 20 and 21.Silverstone was outstanding for the entire team and were determined to keep that momentum rolling into Snetterton, said Walkinshaw, who will himself be racing next weekend in the European Formula 3 Open at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Jack and Matty have each proven their pace, its been a fantastic season for both of them and they really have developed strongly, as has the team.

Having begun the inaugural season of the British Racing Drivers Club supported F4 championship in fine style with victory for Hastings racer Barlow during round two at Silverstone, SWR added more podium silverware to the trophy cabinet with Grahams maiden rostrum in the very next race.Barlow then achieved his second car racing victory in round 10 at Oulton Park while Graham took the first win of his rookie season at Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit during round 14the latter then triggering the start of an unbroken run of five straight podium visits for the team.Chinas Zou Sirui has been improving his pace and racecraft throughout his first season of racing on British soil and is determined to claim a top 10 finish before the end of his debut campaign. His best result up to now is 14th place although Siruiwho makes the lengthy journey from his home in the Far East for each F4 race meetinghas run higher up the order on more than one occasion.Zou has been improving well and wed all love to see him get that first top 10 under his belt next weekend, added Walkinshaw, Snetterton was a bit of a nightmare for us when we last visited back in June, there were a variety of on-track dramas unfortunately, but the team is confident of scoring well and challenging for more podiums, and hopefully wins, this time.Snetterton qualifying is provisionally scheduled to begin at 10.30 next Saturday, 7th September, with round 19 following at 14.40.
