Montermini, Rigon together in Spa with Villorba Corse Ferrari 458

to defend  leadership in the sixth round of the International GT Open

After the summer break Villorba Corse is ready to come back in the International GT Open. The team led by Raimondo Amadio will race in Belgium in the sixth round of the season with Andrea Montermini and Davide Rigon for the first time together behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 GT2. On a challenging track like Spa, the Venetian driver will replace Luca Filippi (who can not be present because of its commitments as a TV commentator) to help to defend Montermini's leadership in the standings after the former F1 driver from Modena and the whole team clinched ten podiums out of ten races in the season.

“We are ready to restart - says Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal -. The next three events will be crucial and so, after over a month off, we will have to retake the right pace. For Spa, a very tricky and challenging track, we have an additional variable: Davide Rigon, for the first time with us. Then we will be even more careful to be sure that everything goes well since the beginning of the weekend. We are happy to get back on track in a so thrilling and beautiful series.”

The Belgian weekend will start on Friday, September 6 with two free practice sessions. Qualifying is scheduled on Saturday at 9:15 and 11:20. Race-1 (70 minutes) will take place at 15:55. On Sunday race-2 (50 minutes) will start at 12:05. Both races will be broadcasted live on www.gtopen.net (clicking on WEB TV).
