Something very cool is happening soon.
We’ve arranged a pre-release screening of “RUSH,” the highly anticipated Formula 1 movie by Ron Howard about the you-can’t-make-this-stuff-up drama that was the 1976 championship battle between Niki Lauda and James Hunt.
The screening is at AMC Loews Danbury 16, Thursday, September 19, Danbury, Conn.
This is 8 days before its national release.
Along with the movie, there is a pre-screening RUSH Reception.
There are 300 seats available for the screening, 200 for the reception. You have the option of choosing only the movie.

Then hope you’re one of the first 300 Fans. (Note: Only 1 ticket per person.)
The movie is free. The reception is free.

The RUSH reception is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Highcroft Racing (multi-time championship team), and is sponsored by Danbury Porsche and Danbury Audi. Thank you!
The screening follows at 8:00 p.m.
At the reception, we’ve arranged to have one of Niki Lauda’s 1976 Ferrari 312T2s, and we are working on getting Hunt’s McLaren-Cosworth M23. Other in-period F1 cars are also part of the display... this is a perfect photo opportunity! We’ll take your photo and send it to you, no cost.
At the AMC Loews Danbury, Skip Barber will open the evening with a talk about his F1 days, including his personal dealings with Lauda.
