DHL joins Qualcomm as Formula E launches car

DHL has confirmed a multi-year global partnership with Formula E, the new electric car motorsport championship which is launching next year.The news was confirmed as the first Formula E car, the Spark-Renault SRT_01E, was launched on Tuesday at the Frankfurt Motor Show.DHL, which is a global logistics partner of Formula One, has been designated the logistics supplier and a founding partner of Formula E, which will begin in September 2014 and feature races on street circuits in ten cities around the world.“The FIA Formula E Championship is much more than just another motorsport series,” said Ken Allen, chief executive of DHL Express. “It provides a global platform for promoting sustainability and the future of mobility, addressing one of the world’s most pressing challenges. •Qualcomm signs multi-year Formula E sponsorship•The Silent Revolution: Could Formula E be the future of motorsport?
