GT Cup entrant IFA support BEN

This season, the IFA have entered the GT Cup and wanted to use the opportunity to support BEN, the automotive industry charity. Sporting the new BEN logo on all four corners of the car, the opening round of the GT Cup at Donington was won by Dave Walley driving in the 911 GT3 Class. The beautifully liveried Porsche will promote BEN to all enthusiasts who follow the seven race series at the track and will also be seen by audiences on the SKY Motors channel this year.

Winner of the Caterham Cup in 2012, Dave is looking forward to a successful GT Cup series having swept the board in the first round at Donington taking ‘First in class’, ‘Pole position’ and ‘Fastest lap’ and still leads his class in the championship.

Tim Whittaker, Marketing Director of the IFA, said: “We are delighted to be able to support BEN, and by placing the logo on the car for free, we are hoping to increase awareness for the charity. The car will be running throughout the series (www.gtcup.co.uk) with the next race being at Silverstone International on June 7th & 8th which will be shown on the SKY Motors channel. In bringing BEN to motorsport audiences I hope we will encourage other drivers and teams to follow our example.”
