Zytek engines and chassis take top 4 Positions
The final qualifying session at the Le Mans 24 Hour proved to be a showcase for Zyteks engines and chassis with Zytek teams taking the top 4 positions, continuing the trend started at the first race at Silverstone earlier this year with pole and followed by another pole at Imola.The TDS Ligier/Zytek/Nissan took pole with a fastest time of 3.37.609 followed by the Jota/Zytek/Nissan in second, Oak Racing Ligier/Zytek/Nissan third and Oak Morgan/Zytek/Nissan in forth.
John Manchester-Zytek Operations Director said “This has been a great final qualifying session for our teams and congratulations to all of them for their great efforts. It is also testament to all the hard work put in at Zytek Engineering back in Repton, where our dedicated workforce have put in many extra hours in preparation for this supreme event. We now look forward to the race and wish our teams the best of luck.
The 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours race is due to start Saturday 14th June at 3 pm local time.
