JOTA Sport takes Epic LMP2 Victory

In what was a truly classic Le Mans 24 Hour race the Zytek Z11SN powered chassis of JOTA Sport took the LMP2 class victory, after an epic battle which went right down to the last lap.

JOTA’s Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and team returnee Oliver Turvey secured the British team’s first Le Mans 24 hour victory.

Hour, courtesy of Tincknell, JOTA made the most of the cars pace with a carefully planned strategic race. In what will be remembered as a ‘classic’ race with its fair share of weather induced drama, all three of Jota’s driver’s put in a stunning performance to take a pressurized win.

Driver and team owner Simon Dolan was overjoyed as he accepted his winner’s trophy on the podium and said he could not believe it.

With the Zytek/Nissan powered cars of TDS Ligier and G-Drive Ligier coming in 2nd and 5th respectively, this was truly a Le Mans to remember for Zytek.
