What's On At Lime Rock This Weekend

Perfect Weather, Great Racing this Saturday‏

You will never see more racing for less money than you will this Saturday, June 21, at Lime Rock Park.

It’s great racing, thanks to the New England Region of the SCCA, which has been coming here since the track opened 58 years ago.

You’ll see fast, ultra-competitive door to door, nose to tail, wheel to wheel races, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and every kind of race car: open-wheel Formula Fords and Continentals, big-bruiser Mustangs, sports racers, plus lightening quick sports cars old and new, from Alfas, BMWs and Corvettes to Miatas, Porsches and VWs – and everything in between.

And it’s only $15 at the Main Gate (60 White Hollow Rd., Lakeville, 06039).

As usual, parking is free, kids 12 and under are free, paddock access is free, and all concession and beer stands are open.

The Lime Rock Park Merchandise Store in A Paddock, stocked will all-new for 2014 gear, will be open too.

PLUS, for the first time at Lime Rock, the well-known “GFest” Car Show (primarily but not only BMWs and other great cars) will be going strong in the Outfield.

This is a terrific way to spend the day with family and friends – and the Saturday weather is going to be, as Emmerson Fittipaldi would say, “Fantask!”

Give us a call at 860.435.5000 if you have any questions. Otherwise, just show up!

(Sorry, the SCCA is unable to provide to Lime Rock with an entry list ahead of time, but the track’s immensely informed PA announcer, Greg Rickes, will keep everybody up to speed.)

See you Saturday for the races and car show,The SCCA-ers at Lime Rock Park
