Giorgio Sernagiotto will make an unexpected come back to the Maserati Trofeo MC World Series next weekend at the historic track of Silverstone, for the third out of the six 2014 rounds.

The Italian driver, after having shared the wheel of the Celadrin MSR Corse Tatuus CN2 car with team mate Roberto Lacorte in the first VdeV events of this year, will rejoin the championship dedicated to the Maserati Granturismo MC in which he was a race-winner in 2012.

The experienced Treviso-based driver will race under the banners of Celadrin and Redragon. One of his fierce rivals will be the famous Italian singer and close friend Max Gazzè, who is set to make his debut in the Maserati Trophy.

The two 45-minute free practice sessions will be held on Friday, while qualifying are scheduled for Saturday as well as Race 1 (green light at 17,30pm). Race 2 will start on Sunday at 9,55am and Race 2 at 3pm.
