José Manuel De los Milagros continues to develop his motorsport career which opens a new chapter this week.

The Madrid-born pilot will make his debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, the European championship following in the wake of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

De los Milagros will drive a Ford Mustang entered by Ford Autolix Competition at the Nurburgring, the same outfit that fields Borja García, a former GP2 racer.

The Spanish duo will be one of the most powerful driver line-ups in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. 

“I am delighted because I have got this chance to participate in this championship, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. It is a dream come true. The car is so different from others I have driven so far… I am really looking forward to it. On the other hand it will be also my debut at this track, a classic venue in motorsport.”

There are two races scheduled over the weekend.
