Round 6: Tones Cars Hartlepool Championship Autotest, 19 July

Richard Pinkney had to settle for a class win and second overall at the Hartlepool Championship Autotest, losing a tight battle with the Mini Special of 2007 champion Paul Swift.

Pinkney dropped away from Swift after picking up a couple of penalties. They traded times for the remainder of the day, with non-championship contender Swift taking the win.

Round 7: Fern Furnishing Alwoodley Autotest

Richard Pinkney dominated the Alwoodley Autotest to take his fourth FTD of 2014 and put himself in a strong position to retain the championship title.

Paul Fobister took the runner-up spot after an intense battle with Dave Evans.
