Team Icer Brakes dominate GTC class of the Spanish GT Championship and the Michelin Endurance Series.
Jesús Díez Villarroel and José Manuel de los Milagros, claime double win driving the Dodge Viper GT Cup at the Circuit de Valencia.
During free practice sessions on Friday Díez Villarroel and De los Milagros finished second in FP1 setting a best lap of 1:41.814 and then in FP2 clocked a lap time of 1:43.332. In the cumulative rankings they finished in the top-5 overall of the Michelin Endurance Series and the Spanish GT Championship.
On Saturday morning, the Team Icer Brakes duo qualified second with a time of 1:38.811, less than two tenths off the pole position time. It was presumed that the race would be difficult due to high temperatures and the fact that the Dodge Viper GT Cup, a typical American muscle car, is a demanding racing vehicle in conditions of extreme heat.
However their performance was rewarded with a double win, firstly in the Spanish GT Championship, and also in the Michelin Endurance Series, forty minutes after. Team Icer Brakes was 3rd overall in the MES.
The fourth and last 2014 meeting will take place at Motorland Aragon, on 28-29 November.
