MSA English Rally Championship

Round 5: Trackrod Forest Stages, 28 September

Nick Carr and co-driver Joe Sturdy won Class E1 on their home event, the Trackrod Forest Stages, just a few seconds ahead of Neil Andrew and Dom Adams.

The consolation for Andrew and Adams is that their second place in the category moves them up to second place in the overall standings. Class E2 was dominated by Dave Bennett and Alistair McNeil, also on their home event.

Kit and Tim Leigh finally showed their true potential after a string of retirements to take a dominant win in Class E3, while Tony Simpson and Ian Bevan won class E4. In the absence of the 2014 champions Matthew Robinson and Sam Collis, it was David Dobson and Phil Sandham who took maximum points in Class E5.
