The Final round of the Perkins Slade Championship is set to go off with a bang at Ellington Banks near Ripon this Sunday October 12th. With true winter weather now starting to drift towards the UK, ROR have hand-picked Ellington Banks for the final round due to its all-weather capabilities.
Ellington Banks offers superb enduro event ground, situated just outside the market town of Ripon in North Yorkshire, less than 10 minutes from the A1 it's an easy venue to access. Add in a large hard standing paddock, with catering, signing on, and the ROR spares shop housed in one of the MOD hangers, this all makes pre event preparation super easy for riders and helpers. Access to the track is a short walk up a fire road where all the action will take place on the superb MOD driver training ranges. The course will feature woodland going with some fast tracks, rolling hills and slopes; once used for tank testing, and some great sprint sections included which gives spectators a safe raised banking area to view from. Lap time should be around ten minutes. Nearest Sat Nav Postcode is HG4 3JZ, this gets you on Kirby road, then just follow orange arrows to the venue.
As in previous years, RideoffroadUK will pledge around £5000 worth of product prizes to give away at the annual Presentation Evening. These product prizes go to the top 3 riders in each and every class from the Perkins Slade Championship. So ladies and gentlemen, if you miss this final race, you may well kick yourself as championship points are really close and final places are never decided until the end!
As we approach the final event of the Perkins Slade supported Enduro Championship of 2014, may we say a big thank you to all our commercial partners for their continued support of ROR events. We look forward to extending our agreements through into 2015, to keep the continuity of our event structure in place as this is important to us, as well as facing some new challenges which we have planned for next season.
