Sieders' shot at fifth Bathurst podium gets lost in The Chase

Dave "Sideways" Sieders has missed the podium at Bathurst for the first time in 5 years after contact punctured his tyre in the final race of the round at Mount Panorama for the 2014 Australian V8 Ute Racing Series - fuelled by Hog's Breath Café this weekend 9-12 October 2014.

Sieders' was on target to make it a double podium for the family race team, with Rhys McNally taking out the round with two race wins, however, contact from Ryal Harris for the second time in two days at The Chase saw Sieders fail to classify for a finish for the first time since his rookie season.

Sieders now trails Kris Walton by 65 points on the Armor All Drivers Leaderboard.
