REIS MSA Asphalt Rally Championship

Round 5: Old Forge Mewla Rally, 30 August

Steve Simpson and Patrick Walsh won the Old Forge Garage Mewla Rally, the fifth and final round of the championship. Fastest time on the opening stage put them into a lead they maintained throughout the rest of the day.

They arrived back at the finish 23 seconds ahead of runners-up Damian Cole and Jack Morton, which was enough to give Morton the MSA Asphalt Co-drivers’ Championship. John Indri and Peter James were third in an Impreza WRC.

Absent on this occasion, Simon Mauger has already been crowned 2015 MSA Asphalt Rally Champion.
