Midlands driver Alex Champkin has consolidated his early lead in the Dunlop TVR Challenge with 3 class wins at the Trac Mon circuit in Anglesey.

The 25 year old has taken to the DG Sportscars built 4.0ltr class C car very well this year which includes an impressive overall win in the wet at Snetterton earlier in the year. Although DG Sportscars MD Mike Luck has occasionally got ahead of Alex, Mike has had to concede that the confidence of youth has prevailed, “I am happy to keep Alex honest and maintain the 1 – 2 finish” said Mike.With only 3 races left in the series Alex has a 20 point lead overall, the next event being at Mallory Park on October 26th.
