Specialist sport protection manufacturer Forcefield Body Armour have been sponsoring several riders in the MCE British Superbike Championship. With round nine approaching this weekend at Oulton Park the riders have been having a successful season so far.
In the British Superbike Championship, rookie Luke Mossey has been riding consistently well and has received the Rookie of the Meeting award on two separate occasions, he also secured his first podium at Thruxton last month.
Danny Buchan has been having a tough time on the Be Wiser Kawasaki and despite several strong qualifying positions he has suffered several big crashes testing out the Forcefield protection. He had a big crash over the famous Mountain section at Cadwell Park and thankfully was uninjured allowing him to race the second race.
The two Gearlink Kawasaki riders Glenn Irwin and Ben Wilson have been having a steady season so far in the Motorpoint British Supersport class. Glenn has been able to secure several wins and is now lying in third place in the Championship standings. Bjorn Estment has also been having a strong year in the Supersport Evo Championship taking a handful of wins and several podiums, despite a couple of big crashes Bjorn is looking to secure an overall top three in the series.
In the Motostar Moto3 Championship, youngster Taz Taylor has been having an exceptional year and has been locked in a battle with former GP rider Scott Deroue. The battle continues this weekend at Oulton and Taz is lying a very close second place in the overall Championship standings. He also secured a wildcard at the British Moto GP at Silverstone last weekend and gained a strong 19th place overall despite a crash in the wet conditions early on.
In the fiercely competitive British Superbike series and support classes the riders are wearing the Forcefield Pro L2K Evo back protector, Elite chest protector and the Technical base layers products.
