Following his customary slow start during qualifying, Michael Gullqvist unleashed four consecutive 5.9-second elimination passes to seal victory.

Gullqvist’s vanquished opponents included rookie Thomas Stiefel, but it was his semi-final win over Mats Eriksson that secured him the FIA European Pro Mod crown.

Roger Moore’s ascent to the final lifted him to second place in the points behind season-long leader Kevin Slyfield, a first-round loser.
