In case you were wondering, manoeuvring a grand piano up a small flight of stairs is quite hard work. In fact, it somewhat resembles the jam-packed schedule of live motorsport we have in store for you this weekend, so take your seats and prepare to be serenaded by a symphony of thundering exhausts!
We start the weekend with a bang thanks to our live coverage of the eternally stunning Goodwood Revival, which returns for its annual extravaganza in the heart of rural Sussex. With yet another marvellous collection of the world's finest vintage motors and the iconic Shelby Daytona Coupe's 50th anniversary lined up, we recommend that you book out the weekend and wind back the clocks so you can gawp wistfully at one of the automotive world's brightest gems.
You can expect a perfect wake-up call from Australia this Sunday in the form of V8 Supercars, which we will show bright and early live from Sandown. Round nine sees Red Bull Racing Australia gun for a fifth consecutive victory at the pre-Bathurst 500km endurance race, but can their third-placed driver Craig Lowndes close down the imperious Mark Winterbottom's championship lead before season's end? No need to set an alarm clock; we're sure our live coverage will wake you up!
Elsewhere in Oz your favourite mud-plugging speed machines are back as the FIA World Rally Championship crowd heads to the stunning Coffs Coast for this season's 10th outing. Be sure to flick on our daily highlights and watch these bonkers dirt junkies go up and back down under as they negotiate the jumps and bumps of the new-look route, which features a night stage as the finale for what promises to be a cracking edition of Rally Australia.
Returning to Blighty we find that British GT is back for the last time this year with the title decider at Donington. The GT4 championship may have already been settled in favour of the young guns at Beechdean AMR, but both GT3 crowns remain very much up for grabs. Indeed, with four crews and two outfits still in contention for the drivers' and teams' titles respectively, this curtain call is set to be a fitting finale for what has been a nail-bitingly close campaign!
It's all wrapping up in FIM MXGP as well, with the bi-wheeled devils heading off for round 17 in Leon, Mexico. Rookie sensation Romain Febvre took the MXGP title in emphatic fashion at the previous round, but with one event left to go after this weekend time is running out for MX2 combatants Tim Gajser and Pauls Jonass to settle the scores and claim championship glory. We'll be following the action step by step to ensure you don't miss a single scrap!
That's an awful lot to look forward to, but we also have coverage of the Renault Sport Trophy, BRDC Formula 4 Championship AND Ginetta GT5 Challenge to keep you extra happy!
