Successful single-seater team Mark Burdett Motorsport is setting its stall out early for the 2016 motor racing season after announcing a series of exclusive winter test dates across Europe for its Formula Renault 2.0 squad.
Securing key track time at six major venues, with plans to also add dates at another European track, the Lincolnshire-based team is mounting a major push to attract drivers for next year’s Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup – beginning with a series of enviable testing packages.
Additionally the team is also welcoming enquiries from drivers planning to race in other categories where track time is restricted, such as Formula 3 and GP3 Series, with the extensive testing schedule providing a perfect opportunity for competitors to learn key circuits ahead of their 2016 campaigns.
Visiting the Red Bull Ring in Austria at the end of October for a two-day outing, the team then travels to the Nurburgring in Germany during the first week of November for two more back-to-back days of running, before visiting Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for another two day test and then heading to Spain for a two-day run at Motorland Aragon.
After returning to the UK, the squad will head back to Europe during the second week of December for a two-day run at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, prior to four back-to-back days of running in Valencia. Additionally, the squad is also working to finalise dates in October and November for testing at Hockenheim in Germany.
