Round 6: UK National Finals, Santa Pod, 19-20 September

Kevin Slyfield sealed the MSA British Drag Racing Championship at Santa Pod, while Andy Robinson ended a troubled year with his first race victory of the season.

Robinson dominated the race, adding pole position, low elapsed time and top speed to his win.

Slyfield appeared on course to meet Robinson in the final, but an electrical problem halted him against Roger Moore a round earlier. Slyfield had led the Championship from the start of the season, scoring two race wins along the way.
