Racecar client and current MiniGP 70 champion, Thomas Strudwick has been racing motorcycles since the age of 5, now at 13, holding the ‘Youngest National Race Winner’ record, Thomas is striving towards his goal of competing at Grand Prix LevelThomas has successfully been selected to take part in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup selection event held at the Guadix Circuit in Spain. Thomas will be joining some of the best riders from all over the world to take part in the selection for the Rookies Cup for the 2016 season. The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, is a great stepping stone into the GP paddock, with past riders moving onto Moto 3 and Moto 2 with the ultimate goal of riding for a Moto GP factory team. Previous Rookies Cup riders include GP stars Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin and Karel Hanika.Thomas will be at the selection event from the 15th to 17th October and is focused on taking the next step towards achieving his dreams.Thomas’ thoughts ahead of the selection event:“I’m extremely pleased to have been picked to attend the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup trials in October. I will try my best at the selection event and make sure that I am fit, and healthy.
