Pippa Mann to help paint finish line pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The white start/finish line at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will turn pink at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pippa Mann, a four-time Indianapolis 500 starter and ambassador for Susan G. Komen, will be on hand to help paint the finish line and accept a monetary contribution from IMS to support the fight against breast cancer.  Mann will be joined by breast cancer survivors, Susan G. Komen Central Indiana leadership and IMS President J. Douglas Boles.   As a member of Dale Coyne Racing in 2014, Mann announced a partnership with Susan G. Komen and drove the No. 63 Susan G. Komen Dale Coyne Racing Dallara/Honda in both the 2014 and 2015 Indianapolis 500s. From Opening Day at IMS in 2015 through Indianapolis 500 Race Day, Mann's car, helmet, firesuit and more were turned pink in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer.
