Support events confirmed for Roger Albert Clark Rally

Two superb value support events will run alongside the 2015 Roger Albert Clark Rally in November, offering crews in any two-wheel drive car a chance to sample some tremendous forest stages in the Kielder region. On Friday 27 November, the Peregrine Print Rally will offer 41 stage miles in the Clintburn and Shepherdshield stages for an entry fee of just £350. The event will run in darkness on Friday evening from a base in Hexham and will cover just 70 road miles. On Saturday 28 November, the Clubmans Rally will cover 51 stage miles in the main block of Kielder for an entry fee of just £450. With a base close to the Kielder dam, road mileage will total just 40 miles. Crews will get the chance to tackle classic stages including Broomylinn, Hawkhope and Roughside. With the event starting early in the afternoon, the later stages will run in the dark and crews will be able to complete documentation and scrutineering on Saturday morning.Rally manager Colin Heppenstall from the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club is keen to welcome all crews to the two support events, including Scottish crews affected by the loss of this year’s McRae Stages.“We’re offering some of the most cost-effective gravel rallying of the season and we’d like to attract crews from both sides of the border,” said Heppenstall. “It is very rare nowadays to get top quality forest stages for an entry fee that works out at less than £9 per mile.”For more details about the Roger Albert Clark Rally support events, including regulations and entry forms, please visit www.rogeralbertclarkrally.org
