BERWICK promoter John Anderson has broken the silence over the future of the border club - and expects to have positive news in the near future. He said: "I don't want to say too much just now, but if all goes well when the sport’s set-up for next season is decided at this month’s AGM I believe we can say it should be ‘all systems go’ for next year and beyond."EDINBURGH are through to the Premier League play-off final for a third successive season. The Monarchs put in a dominant home performance in their semi-final second leg against Peterborough to win 102-78 on aggregate.Team manager Alex Harkess told the Edinburgh Evening News: "It feels great to be in the Grand Final again, and it will feel even better if we can go on and win it again, but everyone at the club is very happy.”The Armadale outfit will be looking to defend the league title against Scottish rivals Glasgow this weekend.GLASGOW pulled off a dramatic last heat 4-2 to overcome Somerset 91-89 on aggregate and reach their first ever Premier League play-off final. The Tigers will now face arch rivals Edinburgh in the Grand Final in what team boss Stewart Dickson is calling the biggest occasion ever between the two clubs.Said Dickson: "This has got to be, in my opinion, the biggest match between the two – bigger than the cup final three weeks ago, bigger than the KO Cup final in 1994. This is for the league."They were the better team over the two legs the last time, nobody will deny that, but it’s a final and we’re going to be really up for it. It’s great to be part of it and we want to win it."PETERBOROUGH promoter Ged Rathbone is already turning his attentions to the 2016 season. The Panthers crashed out of the play-off semi-finals, going down 102-78 on aggregate against Edinburgh, but Rathbone is already putting his thoughts to next year.He said: "A lot of people we have done fantastically well to get so far after overcoming so many obstacles but I've never been happy after defeat and I'm certainly not going to start now."The job is to regroup and think about how we can make next season better by getting ourselves into a position to win the league rather than bowing out in the semi-finals."SOMERSET narrowly missed out on their fourth consecutive Grand Final after suffering last heat heartbreak in their semi-final at Glasgow.A heat 15 4-2 against saw the Rebels go down 91-89 on aggregate.Team manager Garry May says his side can still be proud of their efforts over the course of the season. He said: "Although we missed out on making it through to the Final for the Championship itself, we do have the Knockout Cup to our name, we finished runners-up in the league table, the fours and the pairs so the team can look back with justifiable pride."

BIRMINGHAM boss Graham Drury had no complaints after the NL champions lost out to Eastbourne in the Gold Cup Final.Drury said: “Full congratulations to Eastbourne - they were the better side over the two legs and fully deserved to win this competition."When they qualified for the Gold Cup they were always going to be the favourites and full credit to them. They've had a fantastic season like ourselves and are a powerful team especially at home.”CRADLEY are looking put uncertainty over their future to one side for now by reaching their fourth successive Knockout Cup Final.Director Nigel Pearson said: "A combination of issues means there is no alternative but to stand down and as a consortium we are desperate to see the Heathens continue in league racing in 2016. “The best chance we have of achieving that is for the wonderful band of loyal fans to get across to Perry Barr on Wednesday, get right behind the boys and show what this club means to everyone.”EASTBOURNE added the Gold Cup to the National Trophy with victory over Birmingham at the weekend - and the Eagles still have the KO Cup Final to come.Manager Glenn Martin said: “The team have been absolutely amazing. We are so delighted to have won both the Gold Cup and the National Trophy.“This success is a tribute to the commitment of our riders and the unbelievable amount of work put in by the promoters, Martin and Connor Dugard.”RYE House are hoping to guarantee a top-half finish in the NL table with a positive result at Stoke on Saturday.Raiders boss John Sampford said: “It’s a rejigged team for Saturday. But we have already won at Stoke in the KO Cup, and the boys will be gunning for a repeat performance so that we sign off the season on a high.”
