Duo to return as title sponsor for 2015 BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy

Following a successful first year as title sponsor for the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, Duo plc will continue its association with the UK’s leading single-seater motor-racing series in the 2015 Autumn Trophy. The series will be named the Duo BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy in recognition of the partnership with the UK-based international company which specialises in providing the construction industry with material processing systems, particularly aggregate washing.

As part of the agreement, Duo branding will appear on all of the new-for-2016 BRDC F4 cars competing in the Autumn Trophy, which begins with four races at Snetterton on November 7/8. The Duo logo will also feature on the race suit of each driver, and on the F4 podium backdrop, as well as featuring prominently on race programme covers, other printed materials, and the F4 website. The final four races of the Autumn Trophy take place over two days at the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit on November 14/15.

Jonathan Palmer, MSV Chief Executive, said: “I’m very pleased to confirm that Duo will be our title sponsor for the 2015 BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy, extending the partnership we enjoyed across the main championship this year. The Autumn Trophy will see the introduction of the all-new Tatuus-Cosworth, taking BRDC F4 into an exciting new era whilst cementing its position as one of the leading junior single-seater series anywhere in the world, and we’re delighted to have Duo onboard.”

Alex Moss, Chief Executive of Duo Group plc, said: "We are delighted to continue our association into the Duo BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy. To see so many young talented drivers taking their first steps towards a racing career is something that I have been an advocate of for many years. We have introduced our DUO Academy with the aim of monitoring the progress of up and coming drivers. The championship provides us with great race action and really prepares the drivers for the next step on the motorsport ladder."
