Motors TV Weekend Highlights October 23,25

Friday practice is nearly here, folks, and Motors TV is on hand to get you in the hot seat and enjoy some more motorsport once again!

Things do indeed get back on track this Friday with our highlights of the FIA World Rally Championship, which returns for the penultimate outing of 2015. Vamos a Espana for this round, where the drivers will be confronted with the only mixed-surface fixture of the entire season. As the highly skilled pilots fine-tune their different driving styles, mechanics will use each second of the extended 75-minute service period on Friday to eke every last tenth out of their cars. Add to that mix the seven brand new special stages and the current rally roster certainly have a difficult challenge on their hands, so make sure you don't miss it!

For some more dirt-based shenanigans you can check out our highlights of this year's epic FIM MXGP season. In his maiden campaign no-one would have expected Romain Febvre to raise many eyebrows, but little did anyone know that the young Frenchman would simply blow the rest of the world-class field away. Indeed, such was the rookie sensation's natural talent that he was able to wrap up the championship two rounds before the end and finish the season with a stunning lead of 143 points. Want to know how on earth he managed it? Only one way to find out.

V8 Supercars also returns to the fold this weekend as it descends upon the Gold Coast for round 11 of the season. It's all about the numbers this time around, as V8 Supercars legend Russell Ingall makes his first outing in a Ford for eight years having switched to Ford Performance Racing less than a fortnight ago. The digits only get larger, too, as Ingall heads to the Gold Coast for a record-breaking 250th V8 Supercars round, whilst the championship itself will hit a whopping 900 races at the Queensland venue. As this is quite clearly an event of epic proportions, you have no choice but to flick on our delayed-as-live coverage. You have been warned!

From Australia we head north a few thousand miles to Buriram, Thailand, where we find the brand spanking new TCR International Series getting geed up for the penultimate contest. After a whole season of tit-for-tat tussling Stefano Comini and Pepe Oriola find themselves separated by a mere 11 points in the championship standings, and at such a crucial stage of the season you can be sure they'll do anything and everything to get the upper hand. The tantalising battle will be served up courtesy of our delayed-as-live coverage, so there's no excuse not to tune in (not that you would want any).

Those crazy Dutch running the Supercar Challenge have got back to business as well, taking their exotic menagerie of sportscars out for a spin at Spa-Francorchamps. Sink you teeth into our highlights of this eighth round for action from Ferraris, Vipers, Corvettes, KTMs and much, much more!

After all that your teeth can sink a little deeper with coverage of Caterham UK Racing and the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship as well!
