V8 Supercars
It’s time to bring back the noise one final time with the climax of this season’s V8 Supercars championship in Sydney. The 25-strong field of Australia’s premier eight-pot muscle machines has provided some jaw-to-the-floor racing throughout the campaign, most notably at a historic Bathurst 1000 instalment that saw over 200,000 fans turn out to witness Craig Lowndes’ sixth win at the Great Race. Such action is always hard to top, but we reckon that the last blast of the year will be the hottest contest yet! Check out our delayed-as-live coverage of the event, as well as our 2015 championship review, to fully experience the cacophony of exhaust noise and torque!•Delayed-as-live Rd 14, Sydney – Saturday 5 December (Races 1 & 2) and Sunday 6 December (Race 3) at 13:00•Season review – Saturday 26 December (Part 1) and Sunday 27 December (Part 2) at 11:30
Lucas Oil Off Road Series
As you might have imagined, the words ‘sedate’ and ‘off road’ don’t exactly go together. Whilst these two concepts mightn’t be a match made in heaven, it’s safe to say that any mix of insanely modified mud-plugging rocket ships, challenging terrain and no-nonsense racing certainly would be! Fortunately the bonkers Lucas Oil Off Road Series provides that in plenty, fielding 11 categories of the maddest trucks, buggies and utility vehicles on seven of the toughest dirt circuits in the USA. We’re buzzing to bring you rounds one to five throughout the month, so you should be too!•Rd 1 – Wednesday 2 December at 14:00 •Rd 2 – Wednesday 9 December at 14:00•Rd 3 – Wednesday 16 December at 14:00•Rd 4 – Wednesday 23 December at 14:00•Rd 5 – Wednesday 30 December at 14:00
Andros Trophy
Have you ever wondered what ex-grand prix winners such as Alain Prost and Olivier Panis get up to in their down time? The gym or snazzy parties spring to mind, but we think you’ll be far more interested in the highly competitive Andros Trophy – France’s elite ice racing championship – which skids back into action this month for a brand new season. As the competitive field consists of nothing but four-wheel-drive hatchbacks with serious attitude, we suspect that the phrase ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ was created for the machines contesting this championship. Add to that the glorious alpine locales and you have a pretty spectacular series on your hands. Don’t believe us? Watch our coverage of the first three rounds and see for yourself!•Rd 1, Val Thorens – Wednesday 9 December at 16:00 •Rd 2, Andorra – Wednesday 16 December at 16:00•Rd 3, Alpe d’Huez – Wednesday 23 December at 16:00

Join us to find out who came out on top in this titanic duel!•Season review – Sunday 6 December at 10:30

Your dose of two-wheeled madness will be well catered for, too, as the daredevils contesting France’s national Supercross championship converge in Montpellier this month. Tune in to our live coverage and watch France’s finest dirt bike riders strut their stuff in style!•LIVE Day 1, Montpellier – Saturday 12 December at 19:00•LIVE Day 2, Montpellier – Sunday 13 December at 14:00
Renault Sport Trophy
We also have a review of the inaugural Renault Sport Trophy season, where the endurance and GT stars of tomorrow cut their teeth in one of the most highly-intense competitive racing environments around. Tasked with outpacing a large and talented grid using the same rapid R.S. 01 rocket ship, three racers took up the gauntlet and set themselves apart from the crowd. Indeed, after six door-banging rounds ART Junior Team’s Andrea Pizzitola seized the Elite class crown whilst Dario Capitanio soared to top honours in the Prestige class, winning the Endurance Trophy alongside David Fumanelli to boot.•Season review – Saturday 5 December at 16:00
TCR International Series
For top-drawer touring car racing on epic circuits old and new look no further than the inaugural TCR International Series season, which we’ll be casting a keen eye over in our review show. Fierce rivals Stefano Comini and Pepe Oriola took things right down to the wire in typical touring car fashion, with the dynamic duo having been separated by a nail-bitingly narrow gap as they charged into the closing stages. But who had the honour of grabbing that first TCR International Series title? Sofa. Telly. You know the drill.•Season review – Saturday 19 December at 15:30
