CRH Racing Take on Silverstone Grand Prix Challenge

CRH Racing are back in GT Cup action at Silverstone this weekend, September the 10th and 11th, driver duo Jonathan Evans and Tom Bradshaw returning to the circuit that saw their first class win in May. This time they take on the challenge of the full Silverstone Grand Prix layout,, and as usual the weekend will feature two 25-minute races on Saturday and a longer two-driver 50-minute race on Sunday.

The team’s Porsche 997 GT3 Cup race car is in the competitive GTB class of the series, but a string of podium finishes and that Silverstone win have shown they can be right on the pace in the races.

“We are all looking forward to Silverstone, and if the weather is anything like today it should be good!” said Jonathan, who will drive Saturday’s two races and then be joined by Tom on Sunday. “It’s been a challenging few weeks so I’m looking forward to being in a different environment and concentrate on the racing.

“We are on the full Silverstone Grand Prix circuit and I have raced on that layout before, including a 24-hour race, and the Porsche can really stretch its legs on the straights. We have been pretty much on the pace at every circuit we have been to, we have spent a lot of time getting the car right and we are aiming for at least podium finishes and even better if we can.”

Qualifying for Saturday’s races is at 11.30, with races at 14.35 and 17.05. On Sunday CRH Racing qualify at 11.35 and the two driver race is at 15.15.
