Australian Josh Burdon will test with the Chinese Touring Car Constructors Championship winning Changan Factory Ford Racing Team, at Zhuhai International Raceway on Wednesday, 23 November 2016.

Burdon has been offered the opportunity by Formula Racing Development Motorsport (FRD) to get behind the wheel of their championship defending Ford Focus, after a dominant season winning Asian Formula Renault Series earlier this month.

"I am excited and privileged to be asked by FRD to join them this Wednesday to test in their factory-backed Ford Focus in Zhuhai." said Burdon, "CTCC is exciting as there is big manufacturer support in teams and it is very popular with the Chinese public".

"I can't wait to have my first drive of a front wheel drive touring car and hopefully adapt quickly and can impress."

This test adds to a very busy couple of weeks for Burdon, who recently accepted an offer to test a Lamborghini Trofeo, and fly to Spain in early December for Formula V8 3.5 Winter testing with Teo Martin Motorsport.

"The last few weeks have been amazing, a couple of good opportunities to continue working hard on over the Christmas break."
