Lieb set for Carrera Cup test day

German Porsche ace Marc Lieb will set the benchmark for the Carrera Cup GB drivers during an exclusive pre-season test day at Snetterton on Tuesday 15 March. The Porsche factory racer will be on hand to drive the Team Autosport car during the test as well as give journalists passenger rides to remember!Lieb, 24 years old, has extensive Porsche success in his career to date, having won the 2002 Carrera Cup Germany and the 2003 N-GT category of the FIA GT Championship. He also scored an overall victory in the Spa 24 Hours in 2003 and finished second in class at Le Mans.In 2004, Lieb was a class winner in the American Le Mans Series and will contest the 2005 FIA GT Championship with GruppeM Racing. However, before his FIA GT campaign begins, he will travel to Snetterton to test the Team Autosport car as the Carrera Cup GB teams and drivers step up their pre-season testing programmes.
