IRL IndyCar Series and Grand Am Series Champions To Race Across MacArthur Causeway

To mark the opening of the 2005 racing season, the Toyota Indy 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, 2003 IRL IndyCar® Series Champion Scott Dixon and 2004 Grand American Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype Champion Scott Pruett will drive their respective race cars over the MacArthur Causeway Bridge on Wednesday, March 2 in Miami Beach.

Homestead-Miami Speedway kicks off its 2005 season with the IndyCar Series’ Toyota Indy 300 on March 6, Grand American Sports Car Series’ Grand Prix of Miami on March 5 and the IRL Menards Inifiniti Pro Series™ Homestead-Miami 100 on March 6.
